White Noise is a 2022 post-apocalyptic satire written and directed by Noah Baumbach. It is adapted from the 1985 novel of the same name by Don DeLillo.
The Garden Cinema view:
White Noise successfully satirizes western consumerism and pseudo-intellectualism, which numb the fear of our own mortality. Adam Driver delivers a typically great performance, and the dialogue between the dysfunctional family members is relentlessly funny. We found the third act to be too long and wordy, but overall it does justice to DeLillo's postmodern classic!
