After a drunken house party with his straight mates, Russell heads out to a gay club. Just before closing time he picks up Glen but what's expected to be just a one-night stand becomes something else, something special. Weekend is an invaluable snapshot of the complexities of contemporary gay living and a universally resonant portrait of a love affair.
Weekend premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2011 winning the Emerging Visions Audience Award before being released worldwide. It went on to pick up over 25 international awards and received a Criterion Collection release in 2012.
*Please note, the screening on Tuesday 30 January is our Free Members' Screening, and the screenings on Monday 5 and Thu 15 February are both general public screenings.

When will the booking be open for members?
Hi Yuri,
Booking opens at 6pm today, as announced in the members’ email yesterday. I’ve just added a note on the event as well – when you click to try to book, it should now say “Booking opens 24 Jan, 6pm”, as long as you’re logged into your membership account.
