Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave PG

Part of Films for the Family
Nick Park, UK, 1989, 1993, 1995, 85m.

A rare screening of Aardman Animations' three half-hour specials featuring the Oscar-winning duo - charming and eccentric inventor Wallace and his faithful four-legged companion Gromit.

A Grand Day Out: Wallace and Gromit enjoy a day out with a difference when a quest to find cheese prompts a visit to the moon. Despite a few hiccups with their homemade rocket, the duo makes a successful lunar landing, arriving just in time for lunch. But a strange, mechanical being isn’t too happy to see Wallace eating slices of moon cheese...

The Wrong Trousers: When money troubles prompt Wallace to take in a lodger, life at West Wallaby Street gets complicated for poor Gromit. Forced out of his room to make way for a cool-as-a-cucumber penguin called Feathers McGraw, it’s not long before he feels well and truly usurped as Wallace’s faithful companion.

A Close Shave: Wallace's whirlwind romance with the owner of the local wool shop puts his head in a spin, and Gromit is framed for sheep rustling in a fiendish criminal plot, meeting a sheep named Shaun along the way. Will Wallace snap out of his daze in time to rescue his canine companion?

On Saturday mornings our Family Screenings are followed by a free activity for Children.
