CinemaItaliaUK in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute present Matteo Garrone’s Pinocchio. In this live-action adaptation of the beloved fairytale, old woodcarver Geppetto creates a wooden puppet, Pinocchio, who magically comes to life. Longing for adventure and easily led astray, Pinocchio encounters magical creatures and fantastical spectacles, making both friends and foes along the way. Yet his greatest dream is to become a real boy, a wish that can only come true if he learns to change his way.

The event is part of Future Classics. Screening the New Italian Cinema.

Both screenings will be in Italian with English Subtitles.

On Sunday morning the screening will be followed by a free activity for Children, in partnership with SIAL Courses.

The screening is Pay What You Can, which means you’re free to pay as much or as little as you can afford. By paying for a ticket, you will enable us to keep offering Pay What You Can screenings to families struggling with the cost of living. Thank you.
