A charity fundraising event for the Edward Showler Foundation; 100% of the proceeds will go to support their work.
The event will begin with refreshments in the bar before moving into Screen 1 at 12:45.
The foundation aim to raise funds for the following:
Fund research into the causes and treatment of Sarcoma and specifically Clear Cell Sarcoma with guidance from CRUK and Sarcoma UK and other medical experts in the field.
Fund Memory Days for seriously ill young adults. Following Ed’s diagnosis he was able to enjoy time making memories. We want to help others in a similar position to do the same.
To increase the awareness of Sarcoma and to improve doctor patient communication. Ed was passionate about good doctor patient communications and we are working with Cambridge University on ways we can improve these skills.
