Inspired by a real case of exorcism, Beyond the Hills is an all too believable portrait of dogma at odds with personal liberty in a society still emerging from the shadow of Communism.

A NYFF selection, multiple prizewinner in Cannes, and Romania’s official 2012 Oscar submission.
