Tongues on Fire is a charity, who provides a platform for independent film and arts with a link to South Asia. We “give wings to South Asian roots,” celebrating South Asian culture, its vibrancy and its many dimensions through storytelling, live events, master-classes and cinema screenings. The company provides a platform for emerging talent to showcase their work, offers networking opportunities with industry leaders and provides wider learning opportunities for the filmmaking community.

Producers of annual UK Asian Film Festival, in its 28th year, celebrates powerful cinema from South Asia and its diaspora, uniting bold storytelling and diverse voices under this year’s theme, ‘Stories That Bind Us’.

The UK Asian Film Festival is taking place in venues across London from 1 May – 10 May
