Sine Screen: Whose Homeland 2025

Sat 01 Nov 2025 — Sun 02 Nov 2025

Sine Screen is a London-based screening collective dedicated to showcasing independent cinema and moving-image works from across East and Southeast Asia. It aims to create space for critical dialogue around dominant representations of ESEA cultures and histories through diverse programming.

Sine Screen’s new edition of <Whose Homeland> continues to explore migration, displacement and marginalised lives through a mixture of fiction and non-fiction new releases, archival rediscoveries, and artist moving-image works from East and Southeast Asia and beyond. The season features over 16 events and will be running from November 2025 to March 2026 across London, with touring events in Bristol, Birmingham, and Manchester. Presented with the support of the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding.
